High School Teacher Calls for Mexican Revolt Inside the US

Every time you hear the MSM call Tea Partiers called “racists” just remember this Los Angelos teacher Ron Gochez said.

Have you ever wondered why some people in our country are so militant about allowing millions of people to illegally invade our borders? Are they just soft-hearted people who ache for the poor?

For some, perhaps that is true. But for others, their attitude is a bit more malevolent.

This video surfaced yesterday, but I understand from various sources like Free Republic that this speech actually occurred in 2007 at UCLA. It seems it was made by Ron Gochez, a history or social studies teacher at Santee High School in Los Angeles.

Would you like this guy teaching your child anything?  It’s not a stretch to surmise that he is corrupting young minds, because at the beginning of the video he states that a young person who spoke before him is one of his students, and what the young man said made him proud.

He promotes La Raza as a key organization in the fight in the “global struggle against imperialism and capitalism,” and that where they now stand in California is “stolen, occupied Mexico.”  He says he and his group wants to bring a “revolutionary context” to the illegal immigration debate, and that “frail, racist white people want to keep us out of this country.”

They see themselves as “a northern front of a Latin American revolutionary movement.” He says there are 40 million of “our people” north of the Rio Grande, ” and that means “40 million potential revolutionaries north of the border, inside the belly of the beast,” and he says they are a “culture of revolutionary spirit.”

He says their enemy is the same enemy the Marxist thug from Venezuela has: capitalism and imperialists (translation: Americans).

Americans are for the most part a good-hearted people, and good-hearted people don’t really like to think that there are people with evil, hostile intent out there.  But there are.  As a veteran and former police official, I know from experience that there are.  I say this to let my fellow Americans know that you must not be lulled into complacency by thinking, “Oh, this is just about some poor people looking for jobs;” for many, it is another front in their goal of pushing Marxism on America.

Let’s get busy, America.  Let’s support the efforts like those in Arizona to finally get a handle on this problem, and those in other states who are moving to do the same. Our country is at stake, for ourselves and for our posterity, as well as all the legal immigrants who want to come here to escape this kind of belligerent thuggery.

Tea party wins victory in Utah as incumbent GOP senator loses bid for nomination

The national “tea party” movement toppled its first incumbent Saturday as long-serving Sen. Robert F. Bennett was defeated at the Utah Republican Party’s nominating convention, the most powerful demonstration yet of the anti-Washington tide that is altering the nation’s political landscape.

Bennett, seeking a fourth term after 18 years in office, became the first sitting senator to fall in the ideological battle being waged in his party. Although he has long been viewed as a reliable conservative with deep Mormon roots, Republicans rallied behind two other candidates — neither of whom has held political office — who will compete for the nomination at a June primary.

National tea party organizers embraced the victory as a major first step toward returning the Republican Party to its conservative foundations of limited government and low taxes. At the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, tea party activists cheered and celebrated after Bennett lost.

“This is a symbol that the tea party movement and the broader limited-government agenda is huge,” said Brendan Steinhauser, grass-roots director for the national tea party organization FreedomWorks, which set up a booth at the convention to herald Bennett’s defeat. “It’s the center of American politics. It’s everything that we’ve been saying it is. It’s not just a protest movement; it’s a political force.”

Steinhauser said Bennett’s defeat represents a critical first win that will help build momentum in other contests across the nation. Next up is Kentucky, where tea party candidate Rand Paul is running hard in a GOP primary battle against Trey Grayson, the handpicked candidate of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. Some tea party activists suggested they may seek to oust Utah’s other senator, Orrin G. Hatch (R), whose term expires in 2012.

Until this year, Bennett faced few challenges in this reliably Republican state. In 2004, no one opposed him for the Republican nomination, and his general election victory was so assured that he didn’t spend a penny on television ads. In 2006, he earned a 93 percent approval rating among Republican primary voters.

Lt. Col. Allen West answers the question as to are the Tea Partiers Racist

I found this post at a website I visit often called Another Black Conservative and thought I’d post this one about Lt. Col. Allen West. I’ve posted one of his speeches here before. He’s running as a republican in the State of Florida. He’s asked about the “racists” in the Tea Party movement. That’s something that’s been proven wrong time and time again, yet MSM still keeps trying to inject the idea that they are. There’s one problem Lt. Col. Allen West is black as are many conservative Americans today, you just don’t hear about them.

You will recall about two weeks ago Michael Steele was asked why blacks should vote for the GOP. Steele foolishly replied:

“You really don’t have a reason, to be honest,–we haven’t done a very good job of giving you one.”

I am still rolling my eyes over that one. Now watch how Lt. Col. West answers the question and admonishes Steele too boot!
