School Obama’s Daughters Attend Has 11 Armed Guards

Well, well…say it isn’t so….

Some interesting news has broken in the wake of the latest push for gun control by President Obama and Senate Democrats: Obama sends his kids to a school where armed guards are used as a matter of fact.

The school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, has 11 security officers and is seeking to hire a new police officer as we speak.

If you dismiss this by saying, “Of course they have armed guards — they get Secret Service protection,” then you’ve missed the larger point.

The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC’s David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren’t used (and weren’t even allowed).

Shame on President Obama for seeking more gun control and for trying to prevent the parents of other school children from doing what he has clearly done for his own. His children sit under the protection guns afford, while the children of regular Americans are sacrificed.

  • Only the important people get armed guards. The rest of us little pissants are supposed to give up our guns and become victims.

Yes, you are correct. They want to dissarm us so we can’t fight back against their ill intentions.  They are currently evaluation how the general population will respond to arms confiscation.

  •  Lurking behind the debate over gun control in the US is the debate over expanding government versus freedom. The framers of the US Constitution came down on the side of freedom and limited government. The founders knew men naturally desire to be free, even if some men abuse that freedom. They likewise knew that it is inherent in government, even a necessary government, to diminish freedom. Many bureaucrats in government, today, do not understand the limits of government in the US and come down on the side of an ever-expanding government power. They want to diminish more and more freedom. Whenever an incident with guns happens that abuses freedom, these power-hungry, government bureaucrats become afraid. They know citizens have guns and there may come a time when those citizens will use their guns to keep their freedom. There is only so much Americans will take from their government. High taxes, corruption, and self-serving politicians are tolerable up to a point, but there is a point beyond which government officials should not go. When they go past that point, citizens will take out their guns. If government officials go to bed at night and fear citizens have guns, it is a good thing. Let them fear and let freedom ring.

A large majority of the military and police forces will not obey orders to confiscate firearms. The multiple of reasons when polled were as follows, its a suicide mission. Majority of lawful gun owners would rather shoot the trespassing personnel intending on stealing from them then hand over the 2nd amendment so for the police they would likely prefer to resign then be shot in the face for breaking the constitution. The job is risky enough and doesn’t pay enough nor could it pay enough to go door to door and say hand over your property please, which brings us back to the being shot in the face. Rest of the reasons were its not a lawful order, even if passed into law its unconstitutional, not in line with the bill of rights and its being pass would be treason. Some Military and police have an understanding of whats right and whats wrong, most are conservative.

This is just to intimidate legal and lawful gun owners….expect more of this nonsense from the liberals…they are making their push for more gun control and even an attempt to do away with the 2nd amendment if they could get away with it, which they can’t.

On Sunday, liberal New York newspaper Lohud.com published the names and addresses of legal permit holders in two counties online and in print.

It’s easier to take the guns when you know where they are. (Which is the plan I might add. Gun Registration ALWAYS in history has led to gun confiscation….ALWAYS! )  If guns are confiscated, then your worse nightmare will be next from all directions!!!

AMI Global Security reported:

December 23rd 2012 a New York Newspaper Printed the names and addresses of every Licensed Pistol Permit holder in two Counties and another County is being posted shortly! This is a massive privacy breach and the latest in a series of over the top emotional reactions to the latest shooting tragedy in Sandy Hook CT meant to intimidate the lawful and prey on peoples fears to exploit the gun grabbing agenda.

Outrageous. Can we publish the names of every woman who has received public money to obtain an abortion?

Since when do 2nd Amendment rights mean you forfiet privacy rights?

If, as the media and liberals lecture, lawfully ownership of guns is a direct cause of crime, why have gun sales have dramatically increased since Obama was elected in 2008, but crime has not?

@ Adirondack – good point. Obama’s Justice Department says violent crime is down 17 percent.

I believe this is due to the lack of prosecution of violent black males – but you can’t have it both ways.

Either gun sales are a direct factor correlating to an increase in crime and the violent crime rate should be up 100 percent, minimum, or a spike in gun sales since Obama’s coronation have gun sales have decreasing the violent crime rate by 17 percent, according to the Social Justice Department.

Responsible juneralism would have never published this information…and a responsible city government would nave made sure it was not leaked….even if it is a public record…just saying…now many people will be targeted for their guns…and some will die trying to take them and some will die trying to defend their ownership. NRA calls for armed police officer in every school

Comments Off on NRA calls for armed police officer in every school

I personally think they should save the money and arm several teachers, then train them. The main thing is we’re not giving up the 2nd amendment, it’s not just for hunting, It’s our 2nd amendment right and can’t be revoked without amending the Constitution, then the States must agree to it as well.. That’s the road they went down in the UK , then later ban all guns. Now the Brits want them back. The President has NO role in the formal amendment process, it is all Congress and the States. He cannot veto an amendment proposal, nor a ratification. This point is clear in Article 5, and was reaffirmed by the Supreme Court in Hollingsworth v Virginia (3 US 378 [1798])

Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, who’s retiring from the House next week, took on the National Rifle Association’s goal of having every U.S. school protected by armed police or guards, arguing that government involvement in trying to reduce violence is misguided.

“While I certainly agree that more guns equals less crime and that private gun ownership prevents many shootings, I don’t agree that conservatives and libertarians should view government legislation, especially at the federal level, as the solution to violence,” the libertarian-leaning Paul wrote on his website today.

The nation’s largest gun-rights lobby is calling for armed police officers to be posted in every American school to stop the next killer “waiting in the wings.”

The National Rifle Association broke its silence Friday on last week’s shooting rampage at a Connecticut elementary school that left 26 children and staff dead.

The group’s top lobbyist, Wayne LaPierre, said at a Washington news conference that, quote, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”

He also blamed video games, movies and music videos for exposing children to a violent culture day in and day out.

“In a race to the bottom, many conglomerates compete with one another to shock, violate, and offend every standard of civilized society, by bringing an even more toxic mix of reckless behavior and criminal cruelty right into our homes,” LaPierre said.

From OneNewsNow:  LaPierre blamed the media for what he called its “misinformation campaign.”

“Rather than face their own moral failings, the media demonize lawful gun owners, amplify their cries for more laws, and fill the national media with misinformation and dishonest thinking that only delay meaningful action and all but guarantee that the next atrocity is only a news cycle away.”

And LaPierre pointed out that President Obama was instrumental in cutting federal funding to protect children.

“This president zeroed out school emergency planning grants in last year’s budget. And scrapped ‘Secure Our Schools’ policing grants in next year’s budget. With all the foreign aid the United States does, with all the money in the federal budget, can’t we afford to put a police officer in every single school?”

What’s the better solution: armed officers in schools –
or stricter gun-control laws?    VOTE
