When Barack Obama hands you Billions of dollars in bailout money, you better do as he says.

Video of recorded call to Bank Of America telling customers that they will no longer allow the purchase of Firearms or Ammunition with Bank Of America Credit or Debit cards!!

If this doesn’t clearly reveal to you that perhaps there could be more to the story than just ‘protecting children’ and ‘public safety’, it’s willful choice to keep those eyes, ears, and mind closed..

Bank of America has decided that they are our lords telling us what we can and can not purchase!!!! ASK THE JEWS OF GERMANY HOW THE PROCESS WORKS!

First it was Walmart and Dicks not selling ammunition, now it’s bank of America not allowing the purchase of Ammunition with Credit or Debt cards?

You have to hear this to believe it! Please Share!

Kennesaw Georgia-Crime rate plummeted after law required firearms for residents

Comments Off on Kennesaw Georgia-Crime rate plummeted after law required firearms for residents

Does more guns = less crime? In Kennesaw Georgia it did!

As the nation debates whether more guns or fewer can prevent tragedies like the Virginia Tech Massacre, a notable anniversary passed last month in a Georgia town that witnessed a dramatic plunge in crime and violence after mandating residents to own firearms.

In March 1982, 25 years ago, the small town of Kennesaw – responding to a handgun ban in Morton Grove, Ill. – unanimously passed an ordinance requiring each head of household to own and maintain a gun. Since then, despite dire predictions of “Wild West” showdowns and increased violence and accidents, not a single resident has been involved in a fatal shooting – as a victim, attacker or defender.

The crime rate initially plummeted for several years after the passage of the ordinance, with the 2005 per capita crime rate actually significantly lower than it was in 1981, the year before passage of the law.

Prior to enactment of the law, Kennesaw had a population of just 5,242 but a crime rate significantly higher (4,332 per 100,000) than the national average (3,899 per 100,000). The latest statistics available – for the year 2005 – show the rate at 2,027 per 100,000. Meanwhile, the population has skyrocketed to 28,189.

By comparison, the population of Morton Grove, the first city in Illinois to adopt a gun ban for anyone other than police officers, has actually dropped slightly and stands at 22,202, according to 2005 statistics. More significantly, perhaps, the city’s crime rate increased by 15.7 percent immediately after the gun ban, even though the overall crime rate in Cook County rose only 3 percent. Today, by comparison, the township’s crime rate stands at 2,268 per 100,000.

This was not what some predicted.

In a column titled “Gun Town USA,” Art Buchwald suggested Kennesaw would soon become a place where routine disagreements between neighbors would be settled in shootouts. The Washington Post mocked Kennesaw as “the brave little city … soon to be pistol-packing capital of the world.” Phil Donahue invited the mayor on his show.

Reuters, the European news service, today revisited the Kennesaw controversy following the Virginia Tech Massacre.

Police Lt. Craig Graydon said: “When the Kennesaw law was passed in 1982 there was a substantial drop in crime … and we have maintained a really low crime rate since then. We are sure it is one of the lowest (crime) towns in the metro area.” Kennesaw is just north of Atlanta.

Ed Meese: Obama Risks Impeachment If He Uses Executive Order for Gun Control

Comments Off on Ed Meese: Obama Risks Impeachment If He Uses Executive Order for Gun Control

Well I reported on a Texas Congressman Steve Stockman, saying the same thing yesterday.

Former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese III declared in an exclusive Newsmax TV interview that President Barack Obama could easily be impeached if he bypassed Congress and enacted gun-control legislation by executive order.

Meese’s comments came on the same day President Obama told the White House press corp at the last news conference of his first term that he was reviewing actions, including issuing executive orders, where he could take action without congressional approval to confront gun violence in the nation. Obama said he would present a plan within days.

The options include stronger background checks, a meaningful ban on assault weapons, and limits on high-capacity ammunition magazines, Obama said, conceding that was unsure how such steps could pass Congress.

“I’m confident there are some steps we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president,” Obama said.

“It would not be legal. It would not be constitutional,” Meese, who served under President Ronald Reagan, tells Newsmax. “And, indeed, if he tried to override the Second Amendment in any way, I believe it would be an impeachable offense.”

Obama said at a White House news conference on Monday that he was reviewing actions he could take without congressional approval to confront gun violence in the nation — saying he would present a plan within days.

The options include stronger background checks, a meaningful ban on assault weapons, and limits on high-capacity ammunition magazines, Obama said, conceding that was unsure how such steps could pass Congress.

The idea of embracing tougher gun laws has brought fierce resistance from the National Rifle Association and other gun-control advocates. They contended that their meeting last week with Vice President Joseph Biden’s gun-violence task force amounted to a strategy session on how to thwart the Second Amendment.

“It should be remembered that the president cannot by executive order do things that affects the public at large unless there is some congressional basis for it,” Meese tells Newsmax. “In other words, some Congressional authority he has been given.

“An executive order without specific congressional authority can only apply to those portions of the government that are under his control — in their words, the executive branch. Now there are some things he can probably do in regard to the actions of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or some other governmental agency in its operations.

“But to impose burdens or regulations that affect society generally, he would have to have Congressional authorization,” he said.

Obama plans to surround himself with children during gun control announcement

Comments Off on Obama plans to surround himself with children during gun control announcement

Does the President have no shame…..using the Children that don’t understand at all what’s going on. Using Children to pass an agenda is getting old, Clinton was good at this as well.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney announced this afternoon that President Obama will unveil a “concrete package” of gun control proposals including assault weapons bans, high capacity ammunition magazine bans, and closing loopholes on background checks.

Carney said that the president will be joined by Vice President Joe Biden as well as children who wrote to the president after the Newtown shootings.

“They will be joined by children around the country expressing their concerns about gun violence and school safety, along with their parents,” Carney confirmed.

The press conference will take place Wednesday at 11:45 a.m.

Texas to Join Wyoming: Felony Charges for Enforcing New Gun Control

Comments Off on Texas to Join Wyoming: Felony Charges for Enforcing New Gun Control

As to Obama’s new gun control proposals…Is it “regulation” or “infringement” to make ammunition for weapons extremely difficult to obtain or afford?  Does not any effort to do so change handguns into expensive hammers and rifles into decorations over a mantle?  If a weapon owner cannot obtain ammunition for his weapon, is his right to keep and bear arms infringed? Is it “regulation” or “infringement” to unreasonably  limit the size of the magazine or to require only single shot weapons be available to citizens?

Now along with Texas & Wyoming …South Carolina Bill Would Nullify all Presidential Executive Orders Against the Right to Keep and Bear Arms

Texas state representative Steve Toth is filing legislation for a “Firearms Protection Act” similar to that which we saw in Wyoming.

This law will make “any federal law banning semi-automatic handguns or limiting the size of gun magazines unenforceable within the state’s boundaries.”

Not only will this put Texas shoulder-to-shoulder with Wyoming in making it a felony for anyone–including federal agents–to try to enforce new gun control, but according to the Tenth Amendment Center it is in perfect harmony with the actions of Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, “who has already filed over twenty-three lawsuits against the federal government.”

More good news–representative Toth is newly elected, which means he isn’t wasting any time. He is taking it to the gun-grabbers instead of sitting back to see what happens next.

Toth puts it this way: “We can no longer depend on the Federal Government and this Administration to uphold a Constitution they no longer believe in.”

The message is simple: “Don’t Mess With Texas,” and particularly, with Texas’ gun laws.

Obama Plans to Ban Guns with Tactic Used to Pass ObamaCare

Obama has a fight on his hands and I don’t mean with guns…but with any legislation or executive orders on restricting the 2nd amendment. States are already beginning to nullify anything he does, Obama CAN’T ban assault weapons or magazines Constitutionally with an Executive Order, Congress MUST do that.  Wyoming for one has done it and many are following their lead.

President Obama plans to ally himself with big business once again by using crony capitalist tactics to pass gun control just as he used them to pass Obamacare. In this case, Obama reportedly plans to make sure that the new gun control law benefits big businesses that sell weapons.
The White House is developing strategies to work around the National Rifle Association that one source said could include rallying support from Wal-Mart and other gun retailers for measures that would benefit their businesses.
“Wal-Mart and other major gun retailers may have an incentive to support closing a loophole that allows people to bypass background checks if they purchase firearms at gun shows or through other types of private sales,” the Post explained, citing a source who works with the Obama administration on gun issues.

Obama used the same tactic when passing his health care law, when Jim Messina (the White House deputy chief of staff, at the time, who went on to manage the 2012 presidential campaign) negotiated with the drug industry to get them to pay for pro-Obamacare television ads.

In exchange, “drug lobbyists and White House officials crafted the legislation,” as The Washington Examiner’s Tim Carney recalled. “Obama abandoned his campaign promises and pledged to protect the drug industry’s government-granted privileges. The industry also secured subsidies and lengthy government-protected monopolies on biotech drugs.”
