Did you know that John Brennan, nominee for CIA Director, is a Muslim convert who was turned to Islam by the Muslim Brotherhood?

On Tom Trento’s radio show today, former FBI agent, John Guandolo, who wrote the first Muslim Brotherhood training manual for the FBI, outs John Brennan, Obama’s nominee for CIA Director, as having converted to Islam while working in Saudi Arabia.

Imagine having a CIA Director who thinks like this

The President’s strategy is absolutely clear about the threat we face. Our enemy is not “terrorism” because terrorism is but a tactic. Our enemy is not “terror” because terror is a state of mind, and as Americans we refuse to live in fear. Nor do we describe our enemy as “jihadists” or “Islamists” because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam.

Obama administration’s multiple Hatch Act violations raise questions

Comments Off on Obama administration’s multiple Hatch Act violations raise questions

A troubling pattern of illegal campaigning by government officials, including two members of President Obama’s cabinet, is raising questions about the federal oversight agency that monitors such infractions.

The Office of Special Counsel, which investigates federal employees for engaging in partisan politics, previously found that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius did indeed break the law last year when she campaigned for President Obama during an event in North Carolina. But according to new information obtained by watchdog organization Cause of Action, the DNC improperly reimbursed the federal government for the trip.

The DNC fired back at Cause of Action, calling the accusation “utter nonsense.”

“This is utter nonsense being peddled by right-wing partisans who have nothing better to do than dredge up an issue that has long since been resolved,” said DNC spokesperson Brad Woodhouse in a statement.

Sebelius may have also broken the law when she attended a campaign event for Ohio Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown. Brown’s campaign reimbursed HHS for her trip, indicating that the visit was political in nature.

The penalty for Sebelius’s North Carolina violation alone should have been termination, or a 30-day suspension. Instead, the Obama administration chose not to take any action against her.

The Hatch Act of 1939 restricts federal government employees’ from participating in partisan politics in their capacity as public officials. Infractions of the law are investigated by the OSC, which is headed by a presidential appointee.

But the OSC isn’t pursuing Hatch Act violators in the Obama administration as diligently as it should, said a Cause of Action spokesperson.

“It’s kind of this repeating, overarching theme that OSC is not pursuing Hatch Act violations when and how it should, and it’s a great concern to us as a government accountability organization,” said Mary Beth Hutchins, communications director of Cause of Action, in an interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation. “OSC is taxpayer funded. It is there in part to hold federal employees accountable to the law, and we think they’re not doing that.”

An OSC investigation of another Obama Cabinet member—Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar—is still pending. Salazar is accused of violating the Hatch Act due to his participation in a campaign rally for Obama in Colorado last October.

Mold? Leaky Roof? Obama Administration Says All Americans Must Have ‘Healthy Housing’

Comments Off on Mold? Leaky Roof? Obama Administration Says All Americans Must Have ‘Healthy Housing’

I just don’t remember the Constitution authorizing such a  thing!

Under the broad banner of “health,” the federal government not only is telling Americans what to eat, it’s also telling us to make our homes safer.

This week, the Obama administration released a “bold new vision for addressing the nation’s health and economic burdens caused by preventable hazards associated with the home.”

The project has a name: “Advancing Healthy Housing: A Strategy for Action.”

“People in the United States spend about 70% of their time in a home,” the announcement said.

“Currently, millions of U.S. homes have moderate to severe physical housing problems, including dilapidated structure; roofing problems; heating, plumbing, and electrical deficiencies; water leaks and intrusion; pests; damaged paint; and high radon gas levels. These conditions are associated with a wide range of health issues, including unintentional injuries, respiratory illnesses like asthma and radon-induced lung cancer, lead poisoning, result in lost school days for children, as well as lost productivity in the labor force.”

According to the Obama administration, the health and economic burdens from preventable hazards associated with both subsidized and privately owned homes cost billions of dollars.

The new strategy “unifies” federal efforts to advance healthy housing — “demonstrating the connection between housing conditions and residents’ health.”

The federal partners pushing healthy housing include the White House Council on Environmental Quality, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Surgeon General, and Energy Department.

HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan says the federal government must do “everything we can to ensure that individuals and families have a healthy place to call home.” He said the strategy “will help the federal government unify action (on) controlling and preventing major housing-related exposures and hazards.”

EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said the government now has a “specific plan for action to address radon and other preventable hazards found in homes across the country.” The strategy, she added, “is a critical step” toward ensuring that “Americans in all communities have healthy places to live, work and play.”

California Democrats Propose New Rules on Gun Registration and Confiscation of “Assault Weapons”

Comments Off on California Democrats Propose New Rules on Gun Registration and Confiscation of “Assault Weapons”

Reading the comments on this page, many Californians won’t stand for this and won’t turn in or register their guns. We are truly living in insane times in America.

California Democrats are proposing massive gun control push that would require all guns to be registered and confiscation of all 166,000 registered assault weapons in the state. The Democrats also are pushing for permits to buy ammunition.
CBS Local reported:

Mercury News reported:

All semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines would be banned, all guns would be registered and no ammunition could be bought without a special permit in California under a sweeping list of bills rolled out Thursday by state Senate Democrats.

The 10-bill package constitutes the single largest gun control push in decades in the Golden State, which already boasts some of the nation’s strictest gun laws. It joins equally controversial proposals from Assembly Democrats that would regulate and tax ammunition sales and consider taking the state’s 166,000 registered assault weapons from their owners.

The bills have a good chance of passing through as only a majority approval is needed and the Democrats control the House and the Senate.

What part of “shall not be infringed” don’t those tyrants understand?

    2. the liberals can’t come with any laws to help the economy, colonization, education, the family, but gun control they can roll them out by the hundreds. we have over two thousand federal and state gun control laws, why doe anybody think a new one is going to solve any problems.

As I said in another post, anyone who cannot see that democrats are blatantly evil and care for nothing except gaining totalitarian control over the masses…does not deserve to be free.

I do not consider any democrat an American anymore. They do not support the US Constitution, but misuse it to justify their shredding of it on the altar of “progressivism”. These Califonia Democrats are clearly in violation of the 2nd Amendment with this described law. They do not care. They want us all in chains.

Any vote for a democrat or for any RINO is treason against the Constitution. You cannot see it any other way when you have all this evidence as to the democrats ultimate political goals.

They have enough money to take our guns but not enough to refuel our carriers.

Navy: USS Lincoln Refueling Delayed, Will Hurt Carrier Readiness

Comments Off on Navy: USS Lincoln Refueling Delayed, Will Hurt Carrier Readiness

The U.S. Navy will delay the refueling of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) for an unknown period because of the uncertain fiscal environment due to the ongoing legislative struggle, the service told Congress in a Friday message obtained by USNI News.

Lincoln was scheduled to be moved to Huntington Ingalls Industries’ (HII) Newport News Shipyard later this month to begin the 4-year refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) of the ship.

“This delay is due to uncertainty in the Fiscal Year 2013 appropriations bill, both in the timing and funding level available for the first full year of the contract,” the message said.
“CVN-72 will remain at Norfolk Naval Base where the ships force personnel will continue to conduct routine maintenance until sufficient funding is received for the initial execution of the RCOH.”

Rep. J. Randy Forbes (R-Va.) chairman of the House Armed Services Seapower subcommittee released a statement denouncing the need for decision.

Forbes called the delay, “another example of how these reckless and irresponsible defense cuts in Washington will have a long-term impact on the Navy’s ability to perform its missions. Not only will the Lincoln be delayed in returning to the Fleet, but this decision will also affect the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) defueling, the USS George Washington (CVN-73) RCOH, and future carrier readiness.”

The move by the navy is the second this week involving funding for carriers. On Wednesday it announced it would delay the deployment of the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) to the Middle East do to the ongoing budget strife bringing the total number of carriers in U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) to one until funding normalizes.

The delay in the RCOH for the Lincoln translates into a carrier that will be undeployable for the foreseeable future. It is ‘not possible to restore,’ the carrier to active service without the $3.3 billion overhaul, Hillson said.

Under the current Continuing Resolution (CR), the Navy is $1.5 billion short on its accounts. Combined with coming sequestration in March the number grows to $9 billon for FY 2013, according to Navy documents.

The Navy had budgeted $92 million for the Lincoln refueling in its FY 2012 budget.

Each Nimitz-class carrier undergoes a refueling and complete overhaul at the halfway point in its 50-year service life.

HII said the company is, “disappointed with this turn of events,” and said the delay, “is the direct result of the lack of a defense appropriations bill,” HII spokesperson Christie Miller said in a statement.

“This is not a cancellation of the Lincoln’s RCOH at Newport News Shipbuilding,” Miller said.
“We intend to continue our efforts on the ship at the Navy base in Norfolk and will work to make as much progress as possible, as efficiently as possible, prior to its arrival.”
