Email tells feds to make sequester as painful as promised

Okay so when government workers saw that they could lessen the pain of the sequester they get a memo ordering them not to do it: We told them it would be devastating so make it devastating. Don’t make it look like we are contradicted ourselves.

One commentor says:

This is no surprise to anyone familiar with Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals ~ create chaos, then isolate, demonize and blame your opponent for the chaos. How to spark unrest and revolution. This was all known in 2007 to be his methodology yet we chose to elect him~ now like Paul in the stormy boat we need to provide some kind of solutions.

The Obama administration denied an appeal for flexibility in lessening the sequester’s effects, with an email this week appearing to show officials in Washington that because they already had promised the cuts would be devastating, they now have to follow through on that.

In the email sent Monday by Charles Brown, an official with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Brown asked “if there was any latitude” in how to spread the sequester cuts across the region to lessen the impacts on fish inspections.

He said he was discouraged by officials in Washington, who gave him this reply: “We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”“This email confirms what many Americans have suspected: The Obama administration is doing everything they can to make sure their worst predictions come true and to maximize the pain of the Sequester cuts for political gain,” said Rep. Tim Griffin, Arkansas Republican.

Mr. Brown, the official who sent the email and who is eastern regional director for wildlife services at APHIS, didn’t immediately return a call Tuesday afternoon seeking comment.

APHIS is an agency within the Agriculture Department, and on Tuesday department Secretary Tom Vilsack was challenged on the email at a House committee hearing by Rep. Kristi Noem, who said she hoped the department wouldn’t tie agencies’ hands.

Mr. Vilsack said he hadn’t seen the email, but said agencies are supposed to be trying to find ways to manage the impact of the cuts.

Obama Wants to Deport Christian Home School Family

DHS is set to release another 5,000 illegals while Obama wants this Christian family deported. Seems Obama always does the opposite of what he should do.

By Todd Starnes

The Romeike family fled their German homeland in 2008 seeking political asylum in the United States – where they hoped to home school their children. Instead, the Obama administration wants the evangelical Christian family deported.

The fate of Uwe and Hannelore Romeikie – along with their six children – now rests with the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals – after the Dept. of Homeland Security said they don’t deserve asylum. (But all those criminals can be released and the illegal aliens can come across the border, then get amnesty….what a crazy world)

Neither the Justice Dept. nor the Dept. of Homeland Security returned calls seeking comment.

“The Obama administration is basically saying there is no right to home school anywhere,” said Michael Farris, founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association. “It’s an utter repudiation of parental liberty and religious liberty.”

Blackmail: Obama will continue releasing criminal aliens until taxes are raised

Comments Off on Blackmail: Obama will continue releasing criminal aliens until taxes are raised

It is amazing and unbelieveable as to what extent these people will go to to get what they want…higher taxes. When a report just came out that in 2013 the federal government will set a record of $2.7 trillion in taxes being collected. It’s never enough for them and they say the have No Spending problem, but a revenue problem. Crazy times we live in folks.

On Monday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that the Obama administration will continue to release criminal aliens from local jails and detention centers, claiming that the recent sequester cuts demand such action.

She made the remarks at an event hosted by the left wing website Politico.

Napolitano said:

We’re going to continue to do that … for the foreseeable future. We are going to manage our way through this by identifying the lowest risk detainees, and putting them into some kind of alternative to release.

The Daily Caller reported:

Napolitano’s threat reflects the White House’s determination to ramp up public distress until the GOP agrees to another tax increase.

Under the sequester, budgets at the Pentagon and the numerous civilian agencies are being cut by roughly 8 percent from March to September. The cuts will trim roughly 1 percent from federal spending in 2013.

President Barack Obama suggested the sequester plan in 2011, and is now refusing any changes until the GOP agrees to tax increases.

On Friday, internal government documents were uncovered by the Associated Press which stated that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has already actually released more than 2,000 criminal aliens, and plans to set free another 3,000 such aliens in March.

However, three days earlier, the DHS announced that only “a few hundred” criminal aliens had been released.

The Associated Press reported:

The newly disclosed figures, cited in internal government budget documents reviewed by the AP, are significantly higher than what the Obama administration acknowledged this week as a “few hundred” illegal immigrants who were released under the budget-savings process.

The budget documents show that Immigrations and Customs Enforcement released roughly 1,000 illegal immigrants from its jails around the U.S. each week since at least Feb. 15. The agency’s field offices have reported more than 2,000 released before intense criticism this week led to a temporary shutdown of the plan.

The illegal aliens being released into our communities have either been charged or convicted of a crime (such as burglary, assault, theft, identity theft, fraud, etc.), have been ordered deported by a judge, are fugitives either in their own country, and many have been identified as violent gang members.

It is not only beyond irresponsible to release thousands of currently detained foreign criminals, but completely unnecessary as well. In fact, not only was the sequester Obama’s idea, but he (despite his denials to the contrary) actually can pick and choose which cuts will be made in spending increases..

There is no actual cut in current spending and this is obviously yet another effort on the part of President Obama to end all immigration enforcement in this country.

Both Obama and Napolitano are currently in violation of their oaths of office and will undoubtedly result in more mayhem and deaths inflicted upon the American people by illegal aliens who should be in jail.

UPDATE: School Offers Counseling for Students Troubled by Pastry-Gun Incident

Comments Off on UPDATE: School Offers Counseling for Students Troubled by Pastry-Gun Incident

You just can’t make this stuff up…..can things get any more stupid or ridiculous. I mean common sense when it comes to guns of any kind seems to out the window. It’s insanity on steroids it seems.

As you know if you have been following this dramatic story unfolding in Brooklyn Park, Maryland, seven-year-old Josh Welch has been suspended for two days after he allegedly fashioned his breakfast pastry into the shape of a gun.

Did I say “dramatic”? I meant “stupid.”

The elementary school that was the scene of Josh’s brutally harmless rampage sent students home Friday with a letter describing the incident as if it had actually been serious:

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I am writing to let you know about an incident that occurred this morning in one of our classrooms and encourage you to discuss this matter with your child in a manner you deem most appropriate.

During breakfast this morning, one of our students used food to make inappropriate gestures that disrupted the class. While no physical threats were made and no one [was] harmed, the student had to be removed from the classroom.

As you are aware, the … Code of Student Conduct and appropriate consequences related to violations of the code are clearly spelled out in the Student Handbook, which was sent home during the first week of school and can be found on our website,….

If your children express that they are troubled by today’s incident, please talk with them and help them share their feelings. Our school counselor is available to meet with any students who have the need to do so next week. In general, please remind them of the importance of making good choices.

Pretty sure that if your children are “troubled” by another kid biting a pastry into something that looks sort of like a gun and waving said pastry around, you have already failed as a parent.

The two-day suspension indicates that the school considered this a “Level 3” violation, but exactly what part of the Code was in play is not clear. The letter suggests Josh disrupted the class, but the reference to “inappropriate gestures” involving food can only mean he was also charged with a pastry-based-weapons violation. The Code defines “other weapons” as:

Any gun of any kind, loaded or unloaded, operable or inoperable, including any object other than a firearm which is a look-a-like of a gun. This shall include, but is not limited to, pellet gun, paintball gun, stun gun, taser, BB gun, flare gun, nail gun, and air soft gun.

Josh’s gun was not a firearm, because it was a pastry, and it seems highly unlikely that it qualified as a gun “look-a-like,” again because it was a pastry. It certainly is nothing like any of the “look-a-like” items set forth in the list, largely because those items are not pastries.

Josh’s father expressed amazement at the school’s reaction to the incident, which involved a pastry.

“I’ll just call it insanity,” Josh’s father said. “It’s a pastry.”

Well here we have a man that hasn’t done a budget in 4 yrs that is against Federal law, but he demands a timetable for Israel. Who does Obama think he is?

U.S. President Barack Obama has demanded a timetable for an Israeli withdrawal from Judea and Samaria, according to an unconfirmed report by World Tribune.

The report quotes anonymous “Israeli sources.”

According to the report, Obama, who is scheduled to arrive in Israel on March 20, wants Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to present him with a detailed Israeli withdrawal plan during his visit to Israel. The sources said the Israeli plan “would be considered in what could be an imminent U.S. initiative to establish a Palestinian state in the West Bank in 2014.”

“Obama has made it clear to Netanyahu that his visit is not about photo-ops, but the business of Iran and a Palestinian state,” a source said. “The implication is that if Israel won’t give him something he can work with, then he’ll act on his own.”

The sources noted that “Obama aides” have stressed that Congress supports the establishment of a Palestinian state as a U.S. priority.

“The Obama people are making this a litmus test of Netanyahu’s leadership and credibility,” the Israeli sources said. “Obama supporters in Congress have sent Netanyahu a similar message.”
