“Florida Prosecutor Indicted For Falsifying Arrest Warrant against George Zimmerman”

The George Zimmerman defense has recently gotten a lucky break. Angela Corey, Florida’s state attorney and the prosecutor against Zimmerman, has been indicted by a citizens’ grand jury for allegedly falsifying an arrest warrant and the complaint that led to Zimmerman being charged with the second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin.

The indictment accuses Corey of allegedly withholding photographs of Zimmerman’s head after the incident. Also, Corey allegedly falsely signed an arrest warrant under oath without including the pictures as evidence. Critics claim that Corey rushed the arrest warrant through because activists were rallying around the Trayvon Martin shooting, demanding that Zimmerman be charged with murder. Critics argue that Corey was attempting to secure a reelection with the support of the activists.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz stated that Corey’s actions were unethical and illegal.”

…Corey will now be tried and likely convicted for her alleged crimes – which resulted in Zimmerman being charged under false pretenses, now coming home to roost during Zimmerman’s on-going trial. Corruption cannot be tolerated, particularly by law enforcement officers who are elected by the people to serve their ends, not the law enforcement officer’s political ends.”

Uncle Barack to Punish White Neighborhoods For Lack of Minority Families

Barack Obama’s latest plan to reshape America will involve punishing white communities for their lack of inclusion.

Already the Obama Administration has doled out “damages” to 25,000 Americans in the last three years in housing reparation payments.
It’s like Pigford on steroids.

America Live reported:

Chris Stirewalt at FOX News reported:

Shaun Donovan, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, in a July 16 speech to the NAACP about a new regulation and database aimed at adding “protected classes” into predominantly white neighborhoods.

The federal government is getting serious about pushing racial and ethnic diversity into America’s neighborhoods–and is using big data and big money to achieve its aims.

A new interactive database will help regulators, local housing officials and individuals take action on a newly proposed regulation that would require agencies to “affirmatively further” the inclusion of minority residents in white neighborhoods.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan announced the database and regulation at last week’s NAACP convention, saying the Obama administration was battling “a quieter form of discrimination” that was “just as harmful” as long-outlawed segregationist practices, like racially restrictive property covenants.

The problem now, Donovan said, is that prospective minority buyers are not being encouraged to move into predominantly white neighborhoods with top-notch schools, government services and amenities like grocery stories, etc.

The goal here then is to continue to prosecute at a high rate incidences deemed proactively segregationist – Donovan touted 25,000 individuals in the past 3 years being paid damages under cases reported to the agency or independently investigated by HUD – but to add in a mandate for diversifying neighborhoods.

The old way was to punish exclusion. The new way is to punish lack of inclusion.

Tenn. One of Nearly 2 Dozen States with “Stand Your Ground” Legislation

Comments Off on Tenn. One of Nearly 2 Dozen States with “Stand Your Ground” Legislation

Maybe this explains Eric Holder’s visit to Nashville’s black ministers today…..

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Zimmerman case put Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law into focus. Tennessee is one of nearly two dozen states with similar legislation. People in Nashville and cities across the country will march tomorrow, calling for a change in the law.

The march  here in Tennessee will take place at the Federal Courthouse. Vigil participants are pushing for federal charges against Zimmerman, but they also want to put pressure on lawmakers to take another look at self defense laws.

Tennessee is one of 20 states with the Stand Your Ground law. Criminal Defense Attorney Grover Collins says you have the right to protect yourself in  any place you legally have the right to be in, including your home, business and car.

Grover Collins said, “When you envoke your stand your ground or your self defense you believe that there is an imminent threat, a reasonable imminent threat of serious bodily harm or death and that is based on your perception and what is reasonable at that time.”

Self-defense can include using your fist, a knife or a gun. From 1981-1989, Tennessee law required you to try to get away from a threat before using self-defense. Some, like the author of “Carrying a Handgun for Self-Defense in Tennessee” John Harris, think the law works the way it is now.

John Harris III explained, ” As a practical matter most people have to make the decision whether or not to defend themselves in a very narrow span of time. And it was too much of a burden the legislature thought when they adopted the no retreat doctrine.”

Others want change, like National Action Network members, who organized the 100 City Prayer Vigil for Trayvon Martin.

Member Magaela Bethune said, “His race or his culture, but all those things should not place you at risk of having to die as a result of the application of the law especially or ever when you are unarmed  and not breaking the law.”

John Smith, another local National Action Network member added, “Zimmerman did have a right to stand his ground, but Trayvon had a right to stand his ground too. But we only got one side of the story because one person is alive and one person is dead.”

The 100 City Prayer Vigil for Trayvon Martin will be Saturday outside the Federal Courthouse from Noon-2pm. It will also honor not only Martin, but young people murdered across the country, taking a stand to end all violence against youth.

Holder visits with Nashville ministers

Well the Attorney General Eric Holder was in Nashville talking to black ministers, probably trying to incite them more than they already are. He needs to stay out of the State’s business (in this case Florida).  The DOJ has no case to make here, the FBI found no racism in their over 3 dozen interviews of people about Zimmerman.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder came to Nashville and met privately with six black Nashville ministers Tuesday, discussing the Trayvon Martin case, voting rights and incarceration rates.

Holder, the nation’s top law enforcement official, spent about 30 minutes with the group after speaking to the National Association of Police Organizations’ convention at the Millennium Maxwell House Nashville, said the Rev. Enoch Fuzz, pastor of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church. The ministers, including two Metro Police Department volunteer chaplains, were eager to talk about the killing of Martin, an unarmed, African-American teenager in Florida whose shooter was acquitted on July 13.

“Did we talk about Florida? We talked about Florida,” Fuzz said.

Though Holder didn’t get into specifics of the Justice Department’s investigation of the incident or discuss Florida’s “stand your ground law,” he said that state was “rich and full of targets of injustice,” giving his agency plenty to do there, according to Fuzz.

“We need to stay focused on that tragedy in terms of how it’s creating negative emotions in the people we serve,” Fuzz added.

A spokesman for David Rivera, who also participated in the meeting as the interim U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Government shutdown looms over ObamaCare

ObamaCare is at the center of a rapidly escalating fight that threatens to shut the government down this fall. [WATCH VIDEO]

Senate Republicans, including two members of the leadership, are coalescing around a proposal to block any government funding resolution that includes money for the implementation of the 2010 Affordable Care Act.

But such a move is a nonstarter for President Obama and congressional Democrats. Republicans have tried this maneuver in Obama’s first term, only to back off later to the chagrin of Tea Party leaders.

This time, GOP lawmakers are emboldened by problems plaguing the administration’s ObamaCare implementation. But that zeal could put Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in a tough spot. Both leaders have downplayed previous talk of shuttering the government.

In the House, 64 Republicans have signed onto a letter pressing Boehner not to bring any legislation funding ObamaCare to the floor.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), the leader of the Senate effort, predicts the vast majority of the Senate Republican Conference will back his plan, giving him enough votes to sustain a filibuster of a stopgap spending measure.

Is Lamar’s Campaign Lying About Event Attendance?

“Liberal Lamar’s” Campaign Caught Lying About Event Attendance?

Last Saturday Senator Lamar Alexander’s reelection campaign held an event at the Smyrna Air Center. Many tea party and conservative groups were outside of the event protesting his liberal voting record.

Reports seem to indicate that there were about as many protestors as there were attendees but Lamar’s campaign is saying different.

According to Breitbart:

Staff for Sen. Lamar Alexander contacted Breitbart News to state that 500+ people attended the Rally for Alexander….Katherine Hudgins, an organizer of the “Beat Lamar” rally told Breitbart News “I have two reports from sources who won’t go one the record because of the position they hold in the party. One report is 250 the other was 300.”

Another grassroots organizer of the event had this to say in an e-mail to organizers:

The Alexander campaign is VERY SENSITIVE today about reports of their crowd size on Saturday. They’ve demanded the Knoxville News Sentinel update their story to report the crowd was 508.

As you can see from Liberal Lamar’s Facebook page photos of the event, there were definitely NOT 500 people in these photos (shown below).

Bottom line?  If Lamar Alexander and his staff are willing to lie about how many people show up to his event, what else are they willing to lie about?
