MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam could face fines for election violations.
He’s accused of failing to report political donations or contributions.
The former state Democratic Party chairman says the governor should have to disclose personal payments he made to a professional political operative who was working on the Haslam campaign.
The Tennessee Registry of Election Finance will vote on possible fines in October.
The registry recently imposed a 50 dollar fine against G.A. Hardaway of Memphis for failing to report political contributions.
